As our Senior Manager in Madrid, Alberto Abella received the special visit of an Industrial Engineering and Management students group from the Aalto University (Finland), on the occasion of their visit to Spain.
A group of 28 Industrial Engineering and Management students from Aalto University Finland), leaded by Henri Saksi and ranging from freshmen to nearly graduated engineers, took the oportunity to learn about how an Open Data company like desideDatum works in an enviroment like the spanish.
Alberto Abella took our 28 new finnish friends to MediaLab Prado and answered all their questions and curiosities about our business objectives, our current and future projects, and our view of what should be a good data analyst.
These future consultants, CEO’s, data-analysts, factory managers and entrepreneurs were visiting Spain as a part of their activity with Prodeko, a student’s guild founded in 1866, which goal is to bring IEM students together and help them succeed in their future work life by providing valuable contacts, company relations and activities. On top of being the IEM guild, Prodeko is known within university students for organizing different events in Otaniemi, the student district of Helsinki.
At the end of their visit, our finnish new friends gave a traditional gift as a sign of appreciation to their host Alberto Abella: This wonderful trunk, whose metal plate was nailed by Alberto with his own hands!
